Stay Informed On What's Going On In Our World.

Are you a person who always knows what is going on in the world? Do you stay up to date with local and national news? If so, good for you!!! If you aren't news savvy, but would like to be, you and I have something in common. I find watching the news boring, but sometimes I watch it if I hear of an interresting story. Needless to say, I always find out about major events from someone else, who does pay attention to the news. Some college classes, like Government, require you to stay up to date with the news. Current events, in highschools, requires the same thing. I've added links to serveral news sites. If you are required to know current events for a class or a job, check out any one of these sites, and it will help you. Even if the story is a week or more old, you can search the archives. I've listed them in no order of importance. My favorite site for International news is http://www.cnn.com/, but if I need pictures for a project, I use http://news.yahoo.com/ . Yahoo's site has an amazing number of pictures, arranged in a slideshow album to choose from about any given hot topic. Check these news sites out. Find out what is going on in the world.
